Geophysics applied to Site Clearance
The process of site clearance is generally to prepare a site for construction. It involves the clearing the site to allow other remedial, treatment or demolition works to take place before the actual construction works can begin. From geophysical prospective, site clearance is carried out to check the shallow depths if they are containing any pipes or filling material (utility mapping) by some geophysical techniques such as GPR and electrical resistivity.
